Christopher D’Elia
President and Treasurer
Mr. D’Elia is President of the Vermont Bankers Association and has served in that position since February, 2003. Prior to that time, and during Howard Dean’s Governorship, he served as Commissioner for the Vermont Department of Economic Development for two years during which time he was responsible for overseeing the economic development efforts for the State of Vermont, facilitating a partnership of public and private organizations associated with economic development as well as acting as a liaison between the business community and the Dean Administration. Prior to his Commissioner’s post, he was Executive Director of the Vermont Economic Progress Council, Director, of Workforce Education and Training at Vermont Technical College, and Executive Director of Lamoille Economic Development Corporation.
Mr. D’Elia received a B.A. in Business Administration from St. Michael’s College and lives in Jeffersonville with his wife, Rosemary, and their four daughters.

June Hibbs
Vice President & Corporate Secretary
Ms. Hibbs is Vice President of the Vermont Bankers Association. Previously, June worked for the Tree Care Industry Association as a Meetings Coordinator organizing over 30 meetings and workshops a year. Prior to this role, June worked to develop the Arborist Apprenticeship Program as the Apprenticeship and Workforce Development Coordinator.
Before the Tree Care Industry Association, Ms. Hibbs was the Member Services Manager for Hideaways International, a luxury travel club.
Her many years of experience at the Tree Care Industry Association and Hideaways International will ensure the members of the Vermont Bankers Association will be well tended to and represented by Ms. Hibbs.
Ms. Hibbs received her A.S. in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. June recently moved to Vermont from New Hampshire and resides in Waterbury Center.
